PRC Platform 1.14 changelog

All notable changes shipping in 1.14 relative to the release/1.13 line (production baseline v1.13.0 / patches through v1.13.7).

Window: 1.13 was cut from trunk on 10 August 2026 (57637c3dcd). 1.14 was cut from trunk on 26 August 2026 (08108d6c39), then received backports. 1.14 is that trunk window plus later 1.14 cherry-picks. Many trunk PRs from 10–20 August already shipped on 1.13.x; this list is what remains on 1.14 and not on 1.13.

  1. Audience functions (before WordPress jobs). 1.13 exported buildDatasetAudience, buildQuizGroupOwnersAudience, and buildEmailDomainAudience only. 1.14 also deploys enqueueAuthDomainAudience, enqueueDatasetAudience, enqueueQuizGroupOwnersAudience, and runAuthDomainAudience:

  2. Render functions (Chart Builder Firebase screenshots). 1.14 Chart Builder can use Firebase screenshotElement as a PNG provider. Redeploy render so viewport/deviceScaleFactor match the capture spec. Then pin PRC_PLATFORM_CHART_SCREENSHOT_PROVIDER=firebase, or leave auto-detect (ScreenshotOne wins if its keys are set):

  3. VIP → Profound drain, then dashboard format. Redeploy shipVipLogsToProfound, then in VIP Dashboard → Logs → Log Shipping switch Shipping Contents to the modern typed folders (http_requests_edge, http_requests_origin). The drain classifies types and skips slow_query / app / batch (#4850). Legacy dated paths still work. Docs: VIP log shipping, firebase/functions-vip-logs/CUTOVER.md.

  4. Slack app. After WordPress serves /wp-json/prc-slack/v1/*, apply plugins/prc-slack/manifest.production.yml (or wp prc-slack manifest --env=production). Confirm assistant:write, reactions:write, users:read.email, and agent_view. Invite PRC Nexus to #publish, #decoded, and #prc-platform-support. Hosted staging: Settings → PRC Slack → Enable publish notices. Watcher alerts need prc_slack_user_id; staff can use Connect Slack on their profile when users:read.email is granted (#4704, #4827, #4828, #4856, #4872).
  5. Cursor Origin app (Platform Factory). WordPress is the Origin app (#4832). Create it at codebase app settings, upload an Ed25519 public key, point the webhook at Settings → PRC Slack (Origin webhook URL, /wp-json/prc-slack/v1/origin/webhooks), subscribe to the five pull_request.* events, install on the platform repo, and store PRC_PLATFORM_ORIGIN_APP_ID, PRC_PLATFORM_ORIGIN_APP_KEY_ID, PRC_PLATFORM_ORIGIN_APP_PRIVATE_KEY, and PRC_PLATFORM_ORIGIN_INSTALLATION_ID in VIP (next deploy). Then invite the Slack bot to the engineering channel, fill the roster, and enable Platform Factory notifications. Full steps: Register the Origin app. Official API: Origin API.
  6. ScreenshotOne (auto-detect default). Confirm PRC_PLATFORM_SCREENSHOTONE_* VIP constants. Rotate keys if a signed /take URL already landed in logs (#4819). To force Firebase instead, set PRC_PLATFORM_CHART_SCREENSHOT_PROVIDER to firebase. If that constant is empty, admins can pick a provider and capture defaults under Charts → Settings → Screenshot Settings (#4946).
  7. After WordPress deploy. Hard-refresh Emails → Transactional. Network-activate PRC CRM if new plugins are not auto-enabled. Do not re-enable the WordPress Profound logger. Workspace trackers need PRC_PLATFORM_LINEAR_API_KEY and PRC_PLATFORM_ASANA_TOKEN (#4917).
