An October poll by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press found that 12% of registered voters expressed some concern about whether their ballots would be accurately counted in the coming November election. But, huge confidence gaps appeared between different political and demographic groups: 91% of whites were either \u201cvery\u201d or \u201csomewhat\u201d confident their vote would be accurately counted compared with 67% of blacks.
