Men or women, rich or poor, college grad or high school dropout, similarly-sized majorities favor living in a place that is hotter over one that is colder. Though blacks (69%) and Hispanics (62%) are significantly more likely than whites to prefer to live in a hotter place, a majority of whites still choose a warmer community (54%). This doesn\u2019t mean that Americans don\u2019t like colder cities.
