More and more older adults are learning to speak in 140-character tweets.One-in-ten (11%) online adults ages 50-64 and 5% of online adults ages 65 and older say they use Twitter or another status-updating service. A year ago, just 5% of internet-using adults ages 50-64 were among America\u2019s tweeters.Young online adults are still the most likely to be on Twitter or a status-updating service; more than a quarter (27%) of internet users ages 18-29 tweet. Some older tweeters have plenty to share. Among internet users, 6% of adults ages 50-64 use Twitter or a status-updating service on a typical day, as do 3% of those ages 65 and older.
