But the percentage of people who say they use it on a typical day rose from 4% to 8%. In November 2010, 8% of adults online said they used Twitter and just 2% said they did so on a typical day.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The rise of smartphones may account for some of the
