Board of Education<\/em><\/a>, more than three-quarters of black public-school students attend <a href=\"https:\/\/alpha.pewresearch.org\/pewresearch-org\/short-reads\/2014\/05\/16\/public-school-enrollment-disparities-exist-60-years-after-historic-desegregation-ruling\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">majority-minority schools<\/a>. Yet <a href=\"https:\/\/alpha.pewresearch.org\/pewresearch-org\/politics\/2015\/01\/14\/obama-job-rating-ticks-higher-views-of-nations-economy-turn-more-positive\/\">blacks express a higher degree of satisfaction<\/a> with current conditions in the U.S. (though that likely reflects partisan differences as much as anything).<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Small wonder that <a href=\"https:\/\/alpha.pewresearch.org\/pewresearch-org\/politics\/2014\/08\/25\/few-say-police-forces-nationally-do-well-in-treating-races-equally\/\">blacks and whites often see the world very differently<\/a>. We&#8217;ve gathered some key findings from recent Pew Research Center reports on <a href=\"https:\/\/alpha.pewresearch.org\/pewresearch-org\/social-trends\/2013\/08\/22\/kings-dream-remains-an-elusive-goal-many-americans-see-racial-disparities\/\">black-white perception gaps<\/a>.
