Even though Pew Internet Project data suggests that somewhere between 2 and 7% of internet users are keeping blogs, many more people (around 17% of internet users) are reading them. This level of readership and the fact that the Pew Research Center for People and the Press <a href=\"http:\/\/pewresearch.org\/pewresearch-org\/politics\/reports\/display.php3?ReportID=233\">recently found<\/a> that 41% of voters got campaign news from the internet suggests that blogs are emerging as an alternate source of information for some internet users. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more information on blogs, where else to turn but other blogs? Two sites, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.intotheblogosphere.org\/\">Into the Blogosphere<\/a> at the University of Minnesota and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blogninja.com\/\">blogninja.com<\/a> (home of BROG or Blog Research on Genre, research group at the University of Indiana), aggregate academic and other research on blogging.
