Walt Mossberg<\/a>, the Wall Street Journal’s Personal Technology columnist, has been called The Kingmaker<\/a> by Wired Magazine and probably lots of other unprintable things by disappointed CEOs who have received withering reviews of their products. I had never seen him speak before last month’s Anti-Spyware Coalition meeting, but I’d add stand-up comedian to his titles. He skewered the online ad industry (and the online research industry, I might add) in such a hilarious way, people were cringing and laughing at the same time.<\/p>\n\n
