In the afternoon, Kristen was invited to lead a workshop based on findings from Pew Internet\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/alpha.pewresearch.org\/pewresearch-org\/internet\/Reports\/2010\/Online-News.aspx\"><strong>Participatory News Consumer<\/strong><\/a> report.\u00a0 The workshop will highlight how the internet and mobile technologies are changing people\u2019s relationship to news and information, creating a new media ecology that is portable, personalized and participatory. <\/p>\n\n<p
