As Obama put it in March, \u201cHow often do 90 percent of Americans agree on anything?\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Obama was right \u2013 some surveys conducted soon after the Newtown tragedy did find 90 percent support for expanded background checks.
