But at a time when the Obama administration has been focusing on domestic challenges like the roll-out of the Affordable Care Act, a new Pew Research Center <a href=\"http:\/\/globalpublicsquare.blogs.cnn.com\/2013\/12\/04\/americans-see-declining-u-s-prestige\/\">survey<\/a> finds that many foreign policy experts have turned bearish on the United States. And the American public appears to agree \u2013 U.S. global power and prestige are in decline.<i><\/i><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Public support for U.S. global engagement was already near an historic low earlier this year, and it has declined further still.\u00a0The public thinks that the United States does too much to try to solve the world\u2019s problems, and increasing percentages want the U.S. to \u201cmind its own business internationally\u201d and pay more attention to problems at\u00a0 home.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Read more at\u00a0<a
