About equal shares in both parties say that China is growing stronger (71% vs. 75%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"views-by-age\">Views by age<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Americans ages 50 and older are slightly more likely than adults under 50 to say China\u2019s global influence is getting stronger (76% vs. 70%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 data-is-section=\"true\" data-wp-context=\"{&quot;id&quot;:&quot;which-country-is-the-leading-economic-power&quot;}\" data-wp-interactive=\"{&quot;namespace&quot;:&quot;prc-block\\\/table-of-contents&quot;}\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"which-country-is-the-leading-economic-power\">Which country is the leading economic power?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">About half of Americans (48%) think the U.S. is the world\u2019s leading economic power.
