The data was accessed through\n<a href=\"https:\/\/cps.ipums.org\/cps\/\">IPUMS CPS<\/a>.[2. numoffset=&#8221;2&#8243; Available at IPUMS CPS, University of Minnesota, <a href=\"https:\/\/cps.ipums.org\/cps\/\">https:\/\/cps.ipums.org\/cps\/<\/a>.]\u00a0Voters were defined as respondents that answered \u201cyes\u201d to the following question: \u201cIn any election, some people are not able to vote because they are sick or busy or have some other reason, and others do not want to vote.
