Patel told Bannon that the administration would \u201c<strong>come after the people in the media<\/strong>\u201d who \u201chelped Joe Biden rig presidential elections.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The majority of U.S. journalists (57%) are <strong>extremely or very concerned about potential restrictions on press freedoms<\/strong>, according to our <a href=\"https:\/\/alpha.pewresearch.org\/pewresearch-org\/short-reads\/2023\/05\/02\/most-u-s-journalists-are-concerned-about-press-freedoms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2022 survey<\/a> of nearly 12,000 working U.S.-based journalists.
