About half of those who had heard of ChatGPT (52%) said they expect such <strong>chatbots to have a major impact on journalists <\/strong>in the next 20 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:27px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"new-from-pew-research\">\ud83d\udea8 <strong>New from Pew Research Center<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A new <a href=\"https:\/\/alpha.pewresearch.org\/pewresearch-org\/internet\/2024\/01\/31\/americans-social-media-use\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pew Research Center survey<\/a> looks at U.S. adults\u2019 use of social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Key findings include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>YouTube is the most widely used online platform <\/strong>measured in the survey. Racial and ethnic minorities and young adults were especially likely to favor this policy, as were Democrats and independents who lean Democratic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:27px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"chart-of-the-week\">\ud83d\udcca&nbsp;<strong>Chart of the week<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This week\u2019s chart comes from our new <a href=\"https:\/\/alpha.pewresearch.org\/pewresearch-org\/internet\/2024\/01\/31\/americans-social-media-use\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">survey on social media usage.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are stark <strong>age differences in who uses each social media platform<\/strong>.
