The legislation now moves to the House, which is expected to approve the cuts ahead of the deadline this Friday.\u00a0<br>\u00a0<br><strong>Americans are more likely to support than oppose continuing federal funding for NPR and PBS,<\/strong> although many people don&#8217;t express either opinion, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/alpha.pewresearch.org\/pewresearch-org\/short-reads\/2025\/03\/26\/americans-more-likely-to-support-than-oppose-continuing-federal-funding-for-npr-and-pbs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a Pew Research Center survey from earlier this year<\/a>.
