According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/alpha.pewresearch.org\/pewresearch-org\/short-reads\/2025\/03\/26\/americans-more-likely-to-support-than-oppose-continuing-federal-funding-for-npr-and-pbs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new Center survey<\/a>, <strong>Democrats are more likely than Republicans to trust NPR and PBS as sources of news.<\/strong> Nearly half of Democrats (47%) say they trust NPR as a source of news, compared with 12% of Republicans. The same pattern applies to PBS, with 59% of Democrats and 23% of Republicans trusting the outlet.
