Durov was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/08\/28\/tech\/pavel-durov-telegram-custody-released-intl\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">released from custody<\/a> Wednesday but is facing <strong>allegations that Telegram was used for illegal activities<\/strong> such as drug trafficking, child pornography and even terrorism.
