The focus groups were organized into 18 distinct Asian ethnic origin groups, fielded in 18 languages and moderated by members of their own ethnic groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">These quotes reflect participants\u2019 initial reaction to the question: \u201cWhat does it mean to be you in America?\u201d Many of the participants told us this was the first time they were ever asked this question.
