Prior to joining the Center, she spent two decades conducting social science and public health research in more than 20 countries with the Population Council, International Center for Research on Women, Abt Associates, and Mathematica. Previously, she was a health writer for\u00a0<em>A. Magazine: Inside Asian America<\/em>,\u00a0a researcher for\u00a0<em>National Geographic Magazine<\/em>, and content designer for Carrot Fertility.\u00a0Her qualitative and quantitative research experience spans\u00a0public opinion surveys, health product introduction research,\u00a0program evaluation, behavioral surveillance, user experience (UX) research, and news content analysis, with a focus on gender,\u00a0race and ethnicity,\u00a0and youth. Her research has been widely published in academic\u00a0journals such as\u00a0<em>Lancet Global Health\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>Journal of Health Communication<\/em>,\u00a0as well as featured in international news outlets. She has served as a review editor for\u00a0<em>Frontiers in Reproductive Health<\/em>, and as a World Health Organization research\u00a0reviewer.
