While committed voters favor Barack Obama by a substantial margin (45% Obama, 32% McCain), nearly one-in-four (23%) are classified as swing voters. This is exactly the same percentage of swing voters as in 2000. Of those still persuadable, about one-in-ten (9%) say they are completely undecided at this point. Swing voters who have expressed a preference between the candidates divide roughly evenly (33% for Obama, 27% for McCain).
