With more than 20 states holding presidential primaries and caucuses tomorrow, independent voters will be a key constituency in the states that allow them to participate, and according to a January Pew survey, strong majorities express positive views of John McCain (64%) and Barack Obama (62%). No other candidate in either party is viewed favorably by a majority of independent voters. Rudy Giuliani and Hillary Clinton receive the highest unfavorable ratings.
