# Leveraging Social Media and the Mobile Internet in Health Messaging

This presentation is a synthesis of two recent reports: *Chronic Disease and the Internet* and *Understanding the Participatory News Consumer*.

Susannah Fox extracted lessons from each report for the HHS Web Council, members of which manage the U.S. government’s health agency websites.

A complete archive of the presentation, including slides, audio, and searchable transcript, is [available ](http://blog.aids.gov/social-media-mobile-slides/player.html)on the AIDS.gov site.
