# If We Build It, Will They Log On?

John Horrigan will participate in a roundtable discussion at the 2009 Cable Show, sponsored by the National Cable Television Association. My discussion will be based on the January [commentary ](https://alpha.pewresearch.org/pewresearch-org/internet/Reports/2009/Stimulating-Broadband-If-Obama-builds-it-will-they-log-on.aspx) that highlighted barriers to broadband adoption based on several Pew Internet surveys.
